We invite you to spend a few moments looking at our library's Web site. With help from the State Library of Iowa and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, we are able to create a place on the Web where you, our customers, can explore, learn and get help with all your information needs. Our web page now contains a catalog of all of our materials. With this new software, the public is able to see what books the Hampton Public Library has in their collection. If you have a library card, you will be able to place holds and also renew your books. Go to the catalog tab at the top of the website and search books. If you find a book you want to place on hold, your 14 digit barcode on your library card is your ID and then the last four digits are the PIN. If you are looking for e-books go to the NEIBORS (Northeast Iowa Bridge to Online Resource Sharing) tab.
Byki, "Before You Know It," is a rapid learning system of over 70 languages.
Freegal Music is a new service funded by the Foundation of the Hampton Public Library. All you need is a library card and you can download 3 new songs a week to your computer or device and listen to them forever. Come in or call the library @ 456-4451 for more information.
