Welcome to Hampton Public Library

Document Actions

The Hampton Public Library is encouraging everyone in Franklin County to DROP EVERYTHING AND READ before you go to bed!  The summer reading program this year is Dream big -READ!  So the librarians decided to dream really big and have everyone read this summer.  Because if children are really going to appreciate books and want to read, they need to see adults reading as well.  This means that all parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and teachers should be seen reading too!  Reading isn't just for kids!  The Hampton Public Library has over 35,000 books in their collection.  Come into the library today and check one out.  To see our collection of printed books go to the CATALOG tab.  If you are looking for e-books go to the NEIBORS (Northeast Iowa Bridge to Online Resource Sharing) tab.  Also while you are on our website, check out our language program and free downloadable music.  If you don't have a library card come into the library today and get one!

byki-buttonByki, "Before You Know It," is a rapid learning system of over 70 languages.

Freegal Music is a new service funded by the Foundation of the Hampton Public Library.  All you need is a library card and you can download 3 new songs a week to your computer or device and listen to them forever.  Come in or call the library @ 456-4451 for more information.
