If you are interested in contributing, your donation is tax deductible if you give the funds to the Hampton Public Library or to the Friends of the Hampton Public Library. We will accept any amount of funds and we thank you in advance for your consideration of our wishes.******* Children's Department The Hampton Public Library is planning a new project which includes an outdoor courtyard, an improved parking lot and new entrance to the children's department. This project is located on the east side of the building and will improve the historical district of the City of Hampton as well as make the Library so much more user-friendly for parents & daycare providers who are bringing young children to the library. Your donation can range anywhere from $1.00 on up but with donations of $20.00 or more each donor will receive a replica of the Hampton Public Library as a thank you. In order to donate to this project checks should be made out and mailed to the City of Hampton, 122 First Avenue NW, Hampton, IA 50441. This programming would include author visits, musical programs, and various other forms of entertainment. Most adult programs range in price from $250.00 to $500.00. Every year Rick & Julie Salvesen donate $5,000.00 to the Hampton Public Library to assist with the book budget. A huge thank you to them for their support and generosity.
